PRODUCTION OPERATOR

  • This Senior Process Engineer position will have the primary responsibility for Providing Process Engineering support, guidance and assistance to the Onshore Operation Team in all matters relating to facility engineering design and operability issues, with a strong emphasis on value adding activities and risk minimization.
Responsibilities:

  1. Attend and participate in safety meetings.
  2. High safety responsibility to himself, co-workers, plant and associated equipment.
  3. Follow plant safety emergency response procedures in event of an emergency.
  4. Ensuring all Production Procedures and Written Instructions are followed and adhered to.
  5. Regular monitoring of the plant and process equipment, including taking production readings and reporting any discrepancies.
  6. Report in a timely manner any loss of production capabilities, and any critical unsafe situations to the line Supervisor.
  7. Provide leadership and technical guidance to contract personnel.
  8. Provide comprehensive and accurate verbal / written handover at shift and crew changes.
  9. Follow Competency training Program, demonstrate competency at level 2 standard.
  10. Achieve set goals and personal development programs.
  11. Correct Personal Protective Equipment is used when carrying out tasks.
  12. Ensuring hand tools and equipment are in good safe working order.
  13. Give guidance and support to any new Field Operator recruits.
  14. Take a proactive role in participating any improvements to safety and operating procedures.
Qualification & Experience:

  • Min D3 in Engineering background
  • Minimum 5 years operating in the chemical, oil, and gas related industry.
  • Strong Safety and Environment awareness.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
  • Personal motivation and self learning ability.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, fluent in English oral and written.
  • Ability in problem solving and decision making in process upsets.
  • Ability to assist in the training and development of new operator recruits.

Applications Analyst

  • The Applications Analyst will act as a Facilitator and Coordinator in daily Information Services (IS) support for the Company. The incumbent will be responsible for the proactive and timely delivery of quality IS services through leveraging all available GIS resources in an effective and transparent manner. The Applications Analyst will be an active participant in relevant global IS networks.
Required & Preferred Skills/Competencies:

  • BSc degree required, preferable in Engineering Discipline, Project Management, or Computer Science.
  • At least 8 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Able to assist the Solutions Analysts all aspects of the Solution Design Process through out the Project Development and Project Execution phases.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good understanding of production operations, remote monitoring, production reporting, production allocation, facilities maintenance, change management, and operations engineering applications support for the end users.
  • Working level based technical IS knowledge and experience
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication English skills.
  • Ability to work in a national business setting and support remote operations users' technical applications environment.
  • Good teamwork, creative problem solving, and people networking skills.
  • Strong technical competence with drive and determination to tackle a range of
  • process, work flow, and business application IS related interfaces, issues, and challenges.
