School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP)

School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) Indonesia is a new school focusing on government and public policy based in Indonesia. Currently it offers two program: Master in Public Policy (1 year program) and Master in Public Affairs (2 years program).

School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP Indonesia) is a higher institution that responds to the growing need for policy makers and public leader through cutting edge multidisciplinary training and research in the theory and practice of modern policy-making that will prepare students for active and reflective engagement in local, national and global governance.

 The School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) will open in August 2013 in Jakarta, Indonesia. It will offer a one-year Master of Public Policy designed for young professionals in their late twenties or early thirties.

 The mission of SGPP Indonesia is to address the growing need for a new brand of policy-makers and public leaders for Indonesia and the neighboring regions of Asia Pacific. The School will offer cutting edge courses on the theory and practice of policy-making, taught by an international faculty from the US, Europe and Southeast Asia.

 Call for HR/GA Position in The School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) Jakarta
 Currently SGPP is looking for a person to fill up the Human Resources(HR)/ General Affairs(GA) Staff vacancy.

 Responsibilities:
Assists human resources and general affairs function
Responsible for assisting the full spectrum of Human Resource Functions – Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Training & Development, Job description, exit interview, staff orientation & Staff Insurance
Provides general supporting activities such as the administration of company legal documents and permits; office maintenance and logistic ( transportation, office logistic)
 Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Pyschology and/or administration
At least 3 years of HR Experience in a managerial capacity is required for this position.
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
Experience and interest in the field of public policy is desirable and will be a plus
English Fluency (oral and written) is a must
 Call for Admission Officer Position in The School of Government and Public Policy (SGPP) Jakarta
 Currently SGPP is looking for a person to fill up the Admission Officer vacancy.

 Responsibilities
Manage and supervise SGPP admissions office and its workforce.
Respond to each application and let prospective students know about their enrollment status, include the scholarship results.
Monitor targets and ensure that they are achieved and also produce reports on admission processes and any other reports required by the Recruitment and Admissions committee.
Advise senior management and other members of the SGPP community on all admissions matters. Advise potential students about how to apply, what qualifications are needed and the courses we offer.
Schedule the courses, academic calendars, and lecture rooms. Organize faculty trips and teaching stays.
Provide help and guide SGPP to current and prospective students
Provide administrative assistance to the dean and the faculty member.
 Skills and qualities required

 You have to be a methodical, organized person who likes administration. You must also be able to cope under pressure with any problem that occurs in the area for which you are responsible. Multitasking and ability to cope in the international environment

 Education
Bachelor Degree in Education or Administration
More than 5 years experiences in education sector is a must
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
Knowledge of Kopertis and National Higher Education Regulation is a plus
English Fluency (oral and written) is a must
