PT Agincourt Resources is a subsidiary of G-Resources. G-Resources is a Hong Kong listed gold mines and explorer. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commerce commissioning at the end of 2010 with first gold poured in early 2011. The plant is capable of producing at rate of 250,000 oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.
Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum. Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 66M oz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asian-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seeks to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.
PT Agincourt Resources is now pleased to invite applications for the following role:
Surveyor (MD 0318)
This position will be based in Martabe Project with FIFO Schedule 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Senior Surveyor.
Role of this position is responsible to:
• Supports TSF construction activities.
• Maintain personal responsibility for the health, safety and environment act of every worker under or assigned to his supervision.
• Operate and maintain total station and other additional tool as required by mining, exploration and civil industry.
• Ensure and maintain data records with accuracy.
• Develops implement and maintain the survey procedure or protocol that adheres to survey standards as required under the industry standards in their project.
• Maintains high technical standards and the same time have the ability to complete assigned task in a timely manner.
• Provide report related with TSF construction survey.
• Trains and guides project associated staff.
• Maintain community and local government relationships.
• Ensure survey team cover work, maintains regular pickup of ongoing work.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering.
2. Minimal experience 3 years of practical mining survey.
3. Experienced with survey equipments, Total Station & GPS.
4. Familiar with surveying & mapping software (Processing & Adjustment).
5. Capable of using CAD software (Surpac, Mapinfo).
6. Familiar with coordinate system transformation and map projection.
7. Good communication in English both oral and written.
8. Good personality, determined, adaptive, responsive, open minded, integrity and team work.
Drill & Blast Engineer (MD 0968)
This position will be based in Martabe with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks and report directly to the Senior Engineer Mine Operations.
The role of this position will deal with the all issues related with drilling and blasting engineering. This position caries on through the Martabe project development and operation and to facilitate the effective/efficient/safe blasting operations through best Drill & Blast planning systems and to supervise contractor drill and blast activity.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
• Mining Engineer graduated, related in Mining /Civil Engineering discipline with emphasis on computer D&B planning skills is preferred.
• Blaster Certificate, minimum POP Certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the D&B planning in gold/metals mining operations.
• Knowledge practical experience of D&B software & Unit Operations.
• Knowledge of Explosive Products/Accessories and their best application.
• Knowledge linkage of D&B with short & long range and geotechnical D&B with grade control.
• Blast consumables & Explosive requirement planning.
• Well knowledge with blast regulation as mentioned at Kepmen 555.K/1995
• Able to conduct blast Clearance/blast approval process.
